Our founder, Isaac, traveled to Korea quite often for business. He was having a meeting at a local Starbucks and purchased a “semi-dried sweet potato” with a coffee. This is when he first tasted a “semi-dried sweet potato” snack. It’s something he never had or saw in America. He fell in love with this semi-dried one ingredient (100% sweet potato), gluten-free, vegan, and no preservatives snack. After some research, he saw many other delicious healthy snacks available in Korea.
We started KOKO FARM FOODS to introduce unique snacks from Korea to America. He made sure to adjust snacks to fit into America’s culture and taste. With much time invested in research and development, KOKO FARM FOODS developed “Semi-dried sweet potato with roasted coconut chips.” And it successfully debuted at select North-East region Costcos in America. We now have unique seaweed crunch original and cranberry flavor available—the ultimate bite-sized cube-shaped seaweed crunch that is a great alternative to potato chips with low calories (100 Kcal and 90Kcal/ bag).
