Our founder, frequently traveled to Korea for business. During one of his trips, he stopped by a local Starbucks for a meeting and picked up a “semi-dried sweet potato” snack with his coffee. It was something he had never seen or tasted in America before—but from the first bite, he was hooked. Made with just one ingredient—100% sweet potato—this gluten-free, vegan, and preservative-free snack quickly became his favorite.
Intrigued, he began exploring other wholesome and delicious snacks Korea had to offer. This passion led to the creation of KOKO FARM FOODS, with a mission to introduce unique Korean snacks to the American market. Understanding the importance of taste and cultural preferences, he carefully adapted these snacks to suit American palates. After extensive research and development, KOKO FARM FOODS launched its first signature product: Semi-Dried Sweet Potato with Roasted Coconut Chips, which made its successful debut at select Costco locations in the Northeast.
Since then, we've expanded our lineup to include our Seaweed Crunch in both original and cranberry flavors—a bite-sized, cube-shaped snack that offers a crunchy, low-calorie alternative to potato chips.
We paused operations due to COVID and rising shipping and logistics costs but are excited to be back in business in 2025. This year, we're introducing Semi-Dried Peach Wedges to the U.S. market for the first time ever! Plus, our all-time bestseller, Semi-Dried Sweet Potato (made with premium Korean sweet potatoes), is making a return.
